Who writes the reviews? It has zero to do with the original, the scenario is terrible and the gameplay is even worse. Hiding from some hick with a shovel? DO NOT BUY IT NEW! Get a copy from the library or a friend. It may be your cup of tea but play it 1st. But calling Resident Evil 7? Heck,. The Last of Us Remastered is far closer to the feel and spirit of the 1st three Resident Evils. Those are the only ones worth owning. Heck the PS2 for PS4 original Resident Evil is 10x better. IMHO, that is. You may LOVE it. Me? I suspect shills writing reviews and padding metacritic but whatever.
